Summary

Another designer and I worked together on the software development team tasked with building a suite of applications for a new startup at Xerox for a liquid metal 3D printer. We needed to design user interfaces for the Human-Machine Interface (HMI / GUI) on the printer itself, the associated web application for designing the parts, and an aspirational (i.e. not completed) mobile app to monitor the printers. I led all of the user research and testing for the applications and the other designer and I together wireframed and prototyped the applications.

My roles

My time on this project was split between roles as a UX researcher and designer.

Tools

On this project I worked in Figma, Sketch, InVision (RIP), Jira, Confluence, and Optimal.
